J – Greetings from Chicago. Glad to see how well your doing. I’m 3 mos. strong but now have to quit the gum. I agree on the smoke smell I can’t believe I never really noticed before. After being “clean” for 3 mos. I can bearly stand my friends stink. Hoping I just may be cured of the evils of smoking for good. Enjoy your trip!
was interested in writing a piece about your struggle to give up smokig for the bbc health website wonder if you could get in touch – thanks jane
Hey J,
very inspiring. I would say good luck in Indonesia, but I don’t think you need it. seems you kicked it.
Be safe.

Well done for kicking the habit, you look increasingly like a winner.
Giving up cigarettes is tough, but I’m sure you’re up for the challenge.
The first 30 days are the easiest. It’s the long-term cessation that proves difficult. What has happened since?
